Weekend Visit

Ava came to visit and brought along her mum and grandma! They were here overnight so we had lots of time to hold her, feed her and talk to her, with her smiling at everyone! She's trying to talk so that will come very soon, only 2 months old! Monica and I did a lot of knitting while Ava took naps. I'm finishing the 2nd pair of socks as gifts for my cousins. Both pairs are with Patons sock yarn. I only began knitting with this yarn a couple of months ago. It's very nice, 100% wool, and not as costly as the designer yarns I love. I found a different sock pattern than the one I've used for years. It's in the book, "Not Just Socks". I knew there were sock patterns in that book, but I'd only used the glove patterns. It might be a little easier pattern than what I've used.

Burns' Anniversary

January 25, I will be playing and singing music of Robert Burns and other selected pieces at the library.

In early Spring, I will be doing another house concert at an historical mansion in IN. My program will be Celtic harp music and songs, original music, guitar and keyboard.

There will be sessions of relaxation and meditation in the rehab center and yoga center and a meditation garden which includes a meditation labyrinth.
